Women’s Wine and Nine

Wine and Nine is a beginner program developed to introduce women to the game of golf. The goal of the program is to overcome many of the barriers that women run into as beginners or occasional golfers. The program will focus on basic fundamentals in a fun and social atmosphere. There will be three sessions available.

First Tee of Maine Junior Golf

Dunegrass Golf Club is proud to be partnering with The First Tee of Maine for the 2013 Season to offer opportunities for Junior to learn the fundamentals and etiquette of golf.

The First Tee of Maine offers programs and instruction which focus on developing Life Skills using the game of golf as its vehicle.

We will teach Nine Core Values we all need to be successful in life, by showing the correlation between the Rules of Golf and the rules of society we all use to go to school, go to work, have healthy relationships, and happy lives.

Responsibility
Judgment
Respect
Courtesy
Confidence

The program levels are:

PLAYer – Entry point for all junior golfers. Minimum age 7 years old.
PAR – ‘Graduates’ of PLAYer who are at least 9 years old.
BIRDIE – ‘Graduates’ of PAR who are at least 11 years old.
EAGLE – ‘Graduates’ of BIRDIE who are at least 13 years old.
ACE – ‘Graduates’ of EAGLE who are at least 15 years old.
