Hello everyone. Fall has arrived and as usual the course and clubhouse at Dunegrass are looking absolutely gorgeous. I hope all of our golfing community is making time to get out and take advantage of the nice temps and the incredible scenery.

Speaking of golf, there are a some GREAT events coming up that we want everyone to play in. The first is a very special (and close to our hearts) fundraiser for Angela Pelletier. The second tournament is the Halloween Classic. (Register online for this event). Both tournaments will be a blast -- please come out and play!

Presented by Literacy Volunteers of Greater Saco-Biddeford and Andrew Harris of the Portland Stage Company

Dinner includes appetizer, salad, choice of New England Baked Haddock or sliced sirloin with Portobello mushroom sauce and dessert

Musical entertainment by the Barry Saunders Jazz Trio

Readings by Andrew Harris, affiliate artist at Portland Stage Company

SECOND Annual Angela Pelletier Memorial Classic

Sunday, Oct. 24, 2004 (10A shotgun start)

Angela Pelletier was a vibrant young woman who was tragically taken in an auto accident. This tournament was created to fund student scholarships in Angela's name. Angela's energy, accomplishments and love of life will live forever through the students who earn these scholarships.

To benefit our local Ronald McDonald House. Two days of great fun -- a great way to wrap up the season and a phenomenal way to support this important charity.

• Saturday events include the Halloween Classic Golf Tournament, followed by awards presentation. Saturday evening, guests will enjoy cocktails and hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, followed by dinner and the comedy of George Hamm. • Sunday events will include putting contests, pro shop clearance, and a BBQ on The Fairways deck.
